Dr. I. Schwarzbart, head of the organization department of the World Jewish Congress, today left by plane on a six-weeks mission to Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela and Cuba.
“In all these countries it is my purpose to strengthen the cooperation of the local Jewish communities with the World Jewish Congress. I also hope to contact the Jewish youth upon which our future rests and which is in the first line exposed to the temptation of assimilation,” Dr. Schwarzbart said in a statement issued prior to his departure.
