J.w.v. Commander Calis on Truman; President Lauds Group’s Foreign Policy Position

President Truman today received Henry Albert, commander of the Jewish War Veterans, who reported to him on the stand which the members of his organization have taken with regard to America’s foreign policy.

The President expressed satisfaction with the J.W.F.’s position and said he was pleased to hear of the adoption of a resolution by the Jewish War Veterans which lauded the work of Secretary of State Dean Acheson and of the United States delegation at the United Nations.
