Jews living in Rumania today who are planning to proceed to Israel are anxiously awaiting their exit visas, immigrants from Rumania who arrived here last night aboard the S.S. Transylvania reported. A total of 1,200 Rumanian Jewish immigrants disembarked last night.

The new arrivals reported that no new exit visas have been issued in the last seven months by the Rumanian authorities. Jews in Rumania are fearful that after the Israel-bound immigrants now holding visas leave the country, no new visas will be issued.
