Major Jewish Women’s Groups Issue Appeal for $50,000,000 U.J.A. Cash Drive

A call to American Jewish women “to participate actively” in the emergency campaign to make $50,000,000 in cash available to the United Jewish Appeal before the end of 1950 was issued today by representatives of ten leading national Jewish women’s organizations. The groups were Hadassah; Mizrachi Women’s Organization; National Council of Jewish Women; National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods; Women’s League of United Synagogue of America; Pioneer Women; Women’s Divisions of Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, American Ort, American Jewish Congress and B’nai B’rith.
