After many years of inactivity owing to the war and to Passist racist legislation, the Zionist organization of this city has been re-astablished, it was announced today. Leghorn, formerly known as Livorno, is one of the oldest Jewish communities in Italy and was the site of a flourishing Jewish community in the latter part of the 16th and 17th centuries.
