First of Four Converted Constellations Reaches New York En Route to Israel

The first of four Lockheed Constellation aircraft, converted from military use, arrived today at New York International Airport en route to Israel for delivery to El Al, Israel National Airlines. Conversion work on the planes was done by Inter-Continental Airways, Inc. A.W. Schwimmer, president of Inter-Continental, will accompany the first plane on the flight to Israel.
