Under-Secretary of State James E. Webb today tendered a luncheon in honor of Israel Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett.

Those in attendance included French Ambassador Henri Bonnet; British Ambassador Sir Oliver S. Franks; Madame Vijayi Pandit, Ambassador of India; Maj. Gen. James H. Burns, representing the Department of Defense; Williard L. Thorp, Assistant Secretary of State in charge of economic affairs; George C. McGhee, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs; Durward V. Sandifer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for United Nations Affairs; Counsellor Moshe Keren and Minister Theodor Kollek of the Embassy of Israel; Samuel K.C. Kopper, J.A. Walde, and G. Louis Jones of the Near Eastern Division of the State Department.
