French Government Ratifies United Nations Convention Outlawing Crime of Genocide

The French Government today ratified the United Nations Convention Outlawing the Crime of Genocide. Earlier, the CRIF–the representative council of French Jewry–circulated among all Jewish organizations in France a statement emphasizing the importance of the U.N. genocide convention to the Jewish people.
