Clarification of Turkey’s Attitude to Arab States Sought Following Israeli’s Visit

Arab diplomats in Ankara have sent a joint memorandum to the Turkish Foreign Minister demanding clarification of Turkey’s attitude toward the Arab states, it was reported here by Arab sources.

It is understood that the memorandum was drafted after the recent visit here of Lt. Col. Moshe Dayan, head of the Israel delegations to the four mixed armistice commissions set up among Israel and Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Syria. Col. Dayan received an enthusiastic public welcome from Turkish official circles and the Turkish press.
