Israel Finance Minister Elieser Kaplan met with Assistant Secretary of State George McGhee and later told reporters that the $500,000,000 Israel Bond Issue might be subscribed in “perhaps over a year.” Mr. Kaplan stated that financial and economic problems were discussed at this afternoon’s meeting.
