Israel Yagupsky, veteran Zionist leader, and Jose Ventura, leader of the Sephardic community here, have been named presidents of the United Jewish Campaign of Argentina.

Simon Mirelman, who was president of the drive for the past three years but would not run for re-election this year on account of his health, was named honorary president. Samuel Rabinovich, who served as co-president with Mr. Mirelman last year, was also elected an honorary president. The 450 delegates to the campaign’s national convention paid tribute to the “exceptional energy and devotion” of Mr. Mirelman.
