Resident Truman Presented with Copy of Ben Yahuda’s “thesaurus of Hebrew Language”

Ehud Ben Yahuda, son of the famed Israel lexico grapher Eliezer Ben Yahuda, this week-end presented a copy of the book, “Thesaurus of The Hebrew Language, Old and Modern,” to President Truman. It was accepted on behalf of the President by John F. Simmons, State Department Chief of Protocol, Mr. Truman, conversations with Israeli officials here, had expressed interest in the development of the Hebrew language.
