Israel rail traffic may come to a standstill by a strike of 500 workers at the Haifa central repair shops, it was reported today. The strike, over demands for higher wages, is now in its fourth day.

A one-hour strike in Tel Aviv harbor was called yesterday by Mapam and Communist labor leaders with a view to block the loading of a cargo of citrus juice concentrate sent by the Israel Government as gift to the U.N. armed forces in Korea.
