The Italian Colonial Office here today cabled its representatives in Libya that it had no objections to the postponment of the date of examinations for Jewish students, if the date fell during the Sabbath.

The decision was made after the Jewish community of Tripoli had cabled the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, requesting that it take the necessary steps to obtain the postponement of examinations on the sabbath.
