An appeal for a merger of the General Zionist and Progressive Parties in Israel was adopted at the closing session of the annual convention of the General Zionist Party of Brazil held at Sao Paulo.
Messages of solidarity were also sent to the Zionist Organization of America and the Israel General Zionist Party. The new executive committee is composed of Jose Adler, president of the party; Mrs. Regina Zimmetbaum, president of the WIZO Federation of Brazil; Aaron Neumann, publisher of “Aonde Vamos;” and Jacob Schneider.
