Despite the uncertainties of the political situation in Iran, ORT’s vocational training program in that country will continue to be expanded, it was reported at a press conference here today by Mrs. Ludwig Kaphan, national president of the Women’s American ORT.
Mrs. Kaphan returned yesterday from a tour of many of the over 350 ORT installations in Europe and North Africa. She was one of the three American delegates to attend the annual meeting in Paris of the executive committee of the World Ort Union, where the Iranian program was considered in the light of the turbulent developments there.
