The Center has begun working on plans for the memorial.

Most Jewish community organizations participated yesterday in ceremonies at Drancy marking the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the notorious concentration camp there. About 100,000 Jews were deported to Germany during the war via the Drancy camp.
