American Airmen, Mechanics to Establish $7,000,000 Aircraft Repair Company in Israel

A group of 50 American airman and machined, many of whom served in Israel forces during the War of Liberation, are coming to Israel to establish a $7,000,000 aircraft repair company, it was reported today at the weekly setting of the Cabinet.

Equipment is already being purchased for the company which will be state-owned and will service Israel planes and foreign aircraft. The company will also train local mechanics.

David Horowitz, director of Israel’s Treasury Department, will visit the United States and Britain next week to conclude “certain financial tasks,” it was learned hers today. While in Washington, he will discuss the problem of American securities in persuasion of the Israeli Treasury. He will also attend the Israel Bond conference which in to take place in Washington next month.
