More than $750, 000,000 has been raised by the United Jewish Appeal during the 13 years of its existence, it was revealed here today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, executive vice-chairman.
Dr. Schwartz made this announcement in connection with the forthcoming annual National Conference of the U. J. A. which is to open on December 14 in Atlantic City. More than 1,500 Jewish leaders from all parts of the country are expected to attend the conference at which plans will be mapped for the 1952 U. J. A. campaign.
