Italy Promulgates Law Securing Re-employment of Deported Jews

The Italian Government has just promulgated a law providing for the re-employment of deported Italian Jews and other victims of the Fascist regime.

The law provides that a private employer must re-hire such a victim of Fascism and cannot dismiss that employee for a period of one year after the re-hiring date.
