The 65th birthday of David Ben Gurion, Israel’s Premier, was celebrated here last night at a rally attended by 2,000 persons. Admission to the rally was by purchase of an Israeli bond. James G. McDonald, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, acted as proxy for the Israel Premier and cut a big birthday cake bearing the inscription “Happy Birthday, B.G.”
