Israel has protested to the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission against the killing of two Israeli soldiers and the wounding of a third party of Arabs who ambushed the Israelis near Sodom, in the Negev, at noon. The three men, who were travelling in a truck when they came under fire, managed to kill one of their attackers before they were overpowered and their arms and uniforms were stolen from them.
