Rep. Emanuel Celler of New York today protested in a speech in the House of Representatives against the execution of two Iraqi Jewish youths in Baghdad.

“These lads,” he said, “were tortured into a confession in a manner that aped Communist drugging and rubber truncheonry to induce admission of guilt.” The executions were “unjustifiable murder that shocks the conscience of the world,” he declared.
