Dr. Kurt Blome, a Gestapo official who was deputy chief of the Reich Chamber of Medicine, and who was tried at Nuremberg in 1946 for crimes against humanity, has applied for a visa to visit the United States, it was learned here today.

The doctor served Hitler as Deputy Reich Health Leader and was connected with the S.S. group which carried out sterilization of Jews and others, surgical experiments on involuntary victims, and other atrocities. State Department officials here refused to say whether his visa was approved or not.
