Jacob Malik, Soviet delegate to the United Nations, may visit Cairo in the near future to confer with the Egyptian Government, it was learned today, as Radio Moscow declared that the efforts of Prime Minister Churchill and President Truman to advance the formation of the proposed Middle East Command was a “joint intrigue of the imperialists.”

A cabled report from Cairo received here quoted the Egyptian daily newspaper Al Misri as stating that the Soviet diplomat will come to Cairo at the invitation of the Egyptian Government. Among the topics which will be discussed between him and members of the Egyptian Cabinet is the projected Middle East Command to which Moscow has objected strenuously.
