The American Friends Service Committee has launched a “Music for Israel” campaign which involves sending libraries of classical recordings to Israel for circulation among schools, hospitals, kibbutzim and elsewhere. The Israel Government has set up a special committee to distribute the recordings sent by the Quaker organization which has appealed for gift records from the American people.
