More than 7,000 persons emigrated from Israel last year, it is revealed in a report published here by the Central Bureau of Statistics. The report shows that 7,317 Jews and 330 non-Jews left the country in 1951 for Canada, United States, Turkey, France and other countries.

The majority of the emigrants were newcomers who found it difficult to adjust themselves to the present conditions of life in the Jewish state. Others included Jews who came to Israel in the hope of securing a visa from there to the United States.
