Three Israelis Killed, Four Wounded in Negev Clashes

One Israeli soldier and two workers were killed, two soldiers and two more workers were wounded in two separate incidents in the Negev during the past two days.

One incident took place on the Israeli-Egyptian border when patrols encountered a group of Egyptian soldiers who had penetrated into Israel territory. The other incident occurred on the Sodom-Beersheba road when Arab infiltrees ambushed a truck of the Palestine Potash Company carrying workers from Sodom to Beersheba.
