Tension in Nazareth, scene of a Moslem-Christian Arab clash Monday, reached a threatening stage with the death today of a Moslem, wounded during the disorders on Monday.
Police and local military authorities, in view of the danger of a blood feud, ordered the funeral restricted to close kin of the slain man. The curfew, in force here since Monday, was lifted for three hours this afternoon to enable the inhabitants of the city to buy food. Police maintained close patrol of the streets of the town and there were no further disorders.
