The American Trade Union Council for Israel, composed of representatives of local and national A.F.L. and C.I.O. unions with a total membership of more than 1, 000, 000 members, today launched a special campaign to stimulate the sale of Israel bonds among trade union members. The drive was launched at a luncheon at the Astor Hotel honoring Mayor Abba Hushi of Haifa.
