The need for an expanded adult education program in the United States is emphasized in a resolution adopted here today at the closing session of the three-day convention of Bnai Zion, a Zionist fraternal order. Louis K. Bleecker, of Long Beech, N.Y., was elected national president of the order succeeding Dr. Jacob I. Steinberg who was named national treasurer.
The 500 delegates who attended the convention also adopted a resolution calling on President Truman to veto the McCarran Immigration measure. They also pledged intensified support of all economic aid programs in behalf of Israel.
