Satisfaction with progress made in the negotiations between the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and the German delegation here was expressed today by Moses A. Leavitt, head of the Conference delegation, as well as by Prof. Franz Boehm, chief of the German group.

The two delegations will start discussions tomorrow on the legislative demands advanced by the Conference regarding individual Jewish claims against Germany. Meanwhile, the Conference delegation has drawn up a statement giving the basis for the $500,000,000 global claims which the Conference is seeking from Germany, in addition to Israel’s claims.
