N.Y. Jewish Police Society Buys $10,000 Worth of Israel Bonds

A check for $10,000 representing a treasury purchase of a State of Israel Bond by the Shomrim Society, an organization of 1,700 Jewish members of the New York City Police Department, was presented today at City Hall here by Sergeant George Bopp, president of the Society, to Deputy Mayor Charles Horowitz, chairman of the Manhattan Division of the New York Committee for State of Israel Bonds.
