The Yugoslavian embassy made known today that it will pursue its suit for the extradition of Andrija Artukovitch, Croatian Nazi leader who ordered the extermination of many Jews, despite a ruling by a Los Angeles Federal Court earlier this week that no valid extradition treaty existed.

Yugoslav officials have held discussions with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and with the State Department in connection with their efforts to bring Artukovitch to trial Sanford H. Bolz, Washington representative of the American Jewish Congress, said today that his organization may urge the Justice Department to enter the case more actively.
