Israel Archaeologists Unearth Ancient Walls of Tiberias

The Israel Government’s Archaeological Department has uncovered the ancient walls of Tiberias and artifacts of the Roman Army which, under the Emperor Vespasian, besieged the city some 1,900 years ago, it was announced here today. In addition, the excavations unearthed human skeletons pottery and utensils from an even earlier period.
