The Bavarian Minister of Justice today demanded that Dr. J. Klibansky, the lawyer who defended the late Philip Auerbach, be prosecuted for contempt of court because of the criticism which he voiced against the judges who conducted the Auerbach trial, three of whom are ex-members of the Nazi Party.

Dr.Klibansky had described Fritz Koch, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice as “the man who concocted the brew against Auerbach” which led to Auerbach’s trial and suicide.

From Bonn it was reported today that Dr. Peter Pfeiffer, director of the German diplomatic school at Speyer, has been appointed director of personnel in the German Foreign Ministry, succeeding Dr. A. Dittmann, who was discharged recently because of the latter’s Nazi activities during the Hitler period. Dr. Pfeifer, however, also served in the diplomatic service of Nazi Germany. A recent Parliamentary investigation committee recommended that Dr. Pfeiffer should not be appointed to any diplomatic post abroad.
