Representatives of the Israel Embassy here have made representations to the State Department against the shipment of large quantities of munitions to Arab League states before those states first make peace with Israel.

The Israeli diplomats told the State Department that, in view of belligerent statements by Syrian dictator Shishakly and other hostile developments, they were forced to voice deep concern and alarm at reports that the Arab states will receive large quantities of heavy munitions from the West.
