President Truman will appear at the National Leadership Mobilization of the National Jewish Welfare Board in Washington on Oct. 17 and address the session, Irving Edison, president of the organization, announced today.
Mr. Edison said the conference had been called to give Jewish communal leaders an opportunity to receive a detailed firsthand picture of the relationship between the country’s defense, welfare and recreation needs and the programs of the JWB.
