Israel Cabinet Approves New Pension Law

The Israel Cabinet today approved the draft of a new pension law for government officials. The draft bases the pension paid on the highest salary earned by the employe. The pension that would be paid on retirement after 30 years of service would, according to the draft law, be two-thirds of the employe’s last salary.
