American Donates $20,000 for Prizes for Israeli Pupils

Oscar Gruss, a member of the New York Stock Exchange, has donated $10,000 in cash and $10,000 in goods to be distributed by the Israel Ministry of Education as prizes for promising pupils in Israel’s schools, it was announced here today.

The goods donated by Mr. Gruss, including typewriters, paper, radios, electric clocks and wristwatches, will be sold and the proceeds will be used for prizes.
