British Authorities in Germany Pardon Ill Nazi Field Marshal

The British authorities in Germany today pardoned 67-year-old ex-Field Marshal Albert Von Kesselring, who was sentenced to life imprisonment on charges of Nazi war crimes in Italy. The British said that clemency was being extended to the former German military leader because he was suffering from cancer.
