The annual Weizmann Institute of Science dinner, honoring Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of Israel, will be held in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on December 4th, it was announced today by Abraham Feinberg, newly elected president of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovoth, Israel, sponsor of the affair.
More than 2,000 guests are expected to attend the salute to Israel’s first president. With a guest fee of $250 per plate, over $500,000 is expected to be raised for the building fund of the Weizmann Institute.
