An investigation of election expenditures and propaganda by anti-Semitic, anti-Negro and other race hate agitators seeking to influence the result of next week’s elections was requested by the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League today, in a letter to Senator Thomas C. Hennings, chairman of the Senate Sub-Committee on Election Affairs.

Mentioned in the League’s complaint were Robert H. Williams and his publication ” Intelligence Digest” of Santa Ana, California; Gerald L.K. Smith and his publication “The Cross And The Flag” of St. Louis; ### McGinley and his publication “CommonSense” of Union, New Jersey, and 12 other propaganda groups.

The League’s complaint pointed out that while the League is not concerned in the partisam outcome of the election, it is disturbed by the dangerous spreading of un-American propaganda as a result of activities of agitators operating under cover of the election compaign.
