Mayor Vincent Impellitteri today issued an official proclamation designating the period of November 2-9 as Zionist Mobilization Week, dedicated to the enrollment of new members in the Zionist Organization of America.
The week will mark the 34th anniversary of the issuance of the Balfour Declaration, in which the British Government first pledged the establishment of a Jewish National Homeland in Palestine.
