Queen Elizabeth II has agreed to become patron of the Council of Christians and Jews of Great Britain, it was announced here tonight at a dinner of the Manchester branch of the organization. The national organization was formed in 1942 to combat all forms of racial and religions intolerance between Christians and Jews and to foster cooperation in educational, social and communal services.
