Gen. Yaacov Dori, Israel’s first Chief of Staff of its defense forces, a herd of its War of Liberation and president of the Haifa Institute of Technology, arrived here today on a three-month visit to the United States.
The 53-year-old soldier and engineer will confer with American educators and scientific leaders and will tour the country in behalf of the American Technion Society, which is conducting a drive here to help the Technion in Israel raise $20,000,000 for rebuilding the institute on a new site.
