U.S. Group Accepts Application for Hebrew University Scholarships

Applications are now being accepted for Moritz and Charlotte Warburg Research Scholarships in Jewish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, it was announced here today by Dr. George S. Wise, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University.

Students in any branch of Jewish studies are eligible for the scholorships, which are intended to enable them to engage in advanced studies and research. Priority will be given to candidates holding Ph. D. degrees from the Hebrew University, but candidates with equivalent degrees from other recognized institutions are also eligible. In special cases candidates who hold Master of Arts degrees, or who have no degrees at all, will be considered. Candidates must be under 30 years of age.
