Mordecai Nurock, new Israel Minister to Australia, today presented his credentials to Australian Governor General Sir William Mckell at Admiralty House here. Minister Nurock was accompanied by members of the Israel legation.
The Minister spoke of the fact that Jewish units with the British armies had served alongside Australian combat teams at Gallipoli in World War I and elsewhere during the late war. Sir William expressed the hope that the Jewish State would continue to have the same success in developing Israel as it had in its establishment.
