Israel Will Make Concessions to Foreign Investors in State Projects

The Israel Government is prepared to make concessions to foreign investors in such state developmental projects as the building of harbors and railroads, Dr. Peretz Bernstein, Israel Minister of Trade and Industry, declared here today prior to emplaning for the United States.

Dr. Bernstein, who is coming to the United States in a bid for increased investment in Israel, explained that among the concessions Israel is prepared to grant are uncontrolled rentals in apartments built by foreign capital. Such concessions, he stated, are aimed at attracting investment and providing additional jobs.

Reuben Shiloah, special advisor on political affairs to the Israel Foreign Ministry, left today for Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
