The World Jewish Congress today published “The Story of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising” in connection with the tenth anniversary of the Jewish revolt which will this year be observed on April 12.
The 24-page booklet was written by Dr. Isaac Schwarzbart, director of the WJC organization department, who was a member of the Pre-war polish Parliamemt and a Minister in the Polish Government-in-Exile in London during the war. The pamphlet gives a brief account of the events and background of the armed rebellion against the Nazis and points out the meaning of this event and its significance for this and future generations.
